When you decide to play sports, the choice of exercise is a crucial moment. To persevere without coercion, it is important to choose a sport tailored to your tastes.

Sport in my way of life

To play sports diligently enough and progress, pleasure alone is not enough. Today’s lifestyles can lead to time constraints that are sometimes incompatible with certain types of sports activities. The desire to play golf when the nearest course is 50 km from home can be more frustrating than enjoyable.

To exercise regularly, it is best to choose a discipline that is easy to integrate into your schedule. It is also essential that you respect and ensure the respect of those close to you, the timeframes dedicated to this activity.

I like to let off steam while doing sports

Sprints, jumps, throws, martial arts, short distance swimming, gymnastics, alpine skiing, are short and intense events suitable for those who want to spend maximum energy in a short time. However, in order to find pleasure in them without danger to health, these sports require very serious technical training.

In sports, I like rhythm changes

Cycling, tennis, team sports, badminton, are suitable for those who like to change the intensity and endurance. Tests require endurance effort interspersed with short intense periods (when it is necessary to go to the net, bring the ball into the goal or climb a hill).

In sports, I like regular and long-term activities

Running (half marathon, marathon), swimming (1,500 m, 5,000 m), hiking, cross-country skiing are endurance sports suitable for those who prefer long and regular efforts.

Simple sport or technical sport?

The choice of sport is also a function of each person’s taste for the technical elements of the intended sport.

Sport alone or sport with others?

For example, preferring solitary sports can lead to thinking about the reasons for this tendency and ultimately lead to choosing a sport that improves one’s relationship with others.

Team sports

Football, basketball, handball, volleyball, water polo, rugby, hockey, all team sports are preferred by those who consider sports only as a team. These sports are based on the joint implementation of complex strategies, where everyone has a very specific role.
